A sung 20-second coffee jingle split into its vocal and its backing, so a voiceover can sit on the instrumental.
Stem split takes one mix and returns two files: the voice, and everything else. Here a sung 20-second coffee jingle becomes an instrumental bed. The guitar, claps and kick stay, the singing goes, and a new voiceover can sit on top. The vocal stem keeps the lyrics on their own, with some phasing from the separation.
To make your own, hand Wavemaker a jingle, a song or a clip with music under the voice. It returns the vocal and backing stems at 44.1 kHz stereo, and can re-mix them with a new voiceover or bed at the levels you ask for. A video works as it is. Expect about a credit or two for a short clip.
