The Silver Desk
A 14-second news-desk segment: one original host delivers three exact lines to camera from a studio desk.
An original news host at a walnut studio desk delivers three lines to camera, with a look up from her notes, a nod on the key point and a closing gather of her papers. The Wavemaker agent made it from a short brief: the host's look, the set, the three lines and the gestures.
To make your own, describe the host, the set and the lines. Here the agent made one reference image of her first and built every shot from it, designed a voice for her and recorded the lines as one read, then rendered each shot as a speaking take timed to that voice, splitting the long middle line across a cut from close-up to medium as a two-camera desk would. It checked lip sync line by line and reviewed the finished file. The download holds the finished segment.
How this example was made
- Designed the host One reference image of her face, hair and clothes, used for every shot.
- Designed the voice A voice made for her, with the three lines read once and cut into the shots.
- Rendered speaking takes Each shot is animated to the voice at native 1080p, with the long middle line split across a close-up and a medium.
- Matched the set The wide sign-off shot was built outward from the medium shot's own frame, so the desk, bars and monitor match.
- Reviewed and revised Given a full review of picture, sound, lip sync and the brief, then revised on the owner's note so her lips follow the first line.
Real and generated. Generated: the host, the set, the motion, the voice and the room sound.
Known limit. Her mouth moves slightly for about 0.4 s before the first word, and the look up from her notes plays quickly at double speed.
